Frequently asked questions
How often should I use it?
Fringe recommends 3–5 sessions a week, up to 20 minutes per body area. Daily use is fine; consistency over time matters more than extra sessions.
What does a session feel like?
Comfortably warm. If it feels too warm, shorten the session or switch to 50% brightness.
Can I use it after a cold plunge?
Yes. Dry off and warm up first, then use it on the area you want to work on. Many people use red light on rest days or as a post-plunge wind-down.
Is red light therapy safe?
Fringe devices use a gentle, sun-like intensity of 20–40 mW/cm², with no flicker and ultra-low EMF. Talk to your doctor first if you're pregnant, sensitive to light, recently had a steroid injection or use topical steroids, or take medication that increases light sensitivity. Stop if anything feels uncomfortable.
How does shipping work?
Fringe products ship within the contiguous U.S. and DC only directly from Fringe's warehouse in Rockwall, TX, separately from any other Icebound items in your order. In-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days, and orders placed after 2:00 pm Central are processed the next business day. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
What is the return policy for Fringe products?
