At Icebound Essentials, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products. Our goal is to ensure that your cold plunge, sports recovery equipment, and sauna products perform as expected. This page outlines the warranty coverage for all Icebound Essentials products. Please review the section relevant to your product below.
What We Will Cover
Icebound Essentials will provide free repair or replacement of any defective product or component that has been installed, used, and serviced normally within the specified warranty period. In the event that repair or replacement is not feasible, we may choose to reimburse the purchase price or provide store credit.
Replacement parts may not be identical to the original ones, and their availability is subject to change. We may, at our discretion, use refurbished replacement parts.
How to File a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, contact our Customer Care Team as soon as possible after discovering the defect. You can reach us by email at info@iceboundessentials.com or through our Contact Page. Please have the following ready:
- Order number and proof of purchase — original sales receipt or order confirmation.
- A written description of the defect, including when and how it was discovered.
- Photos or video clearly showing the issue (our team will guide you on what is needed).
Our team will assess your claim and guide you through the next steps, which may include repair, replacement, or return. Use all reasonable means to protect the product from further damage while your claim is being processed.
What You Must Do
Once a warranty claim is opened, you agree to the following as the product owner:
- Notify us as soon as a defect is discovered and take reasonable steps to prevent further damage to the product in the meantime.
- Provide clear access to the product for inspection, diagnosis, or repair. If a technician cannot access the unit due to its installation or placement, any additional cost to gain access is your responsibility.
- Cover the cost of removal, reinstallation, or reassembly of the product if it must be removed from its installed location for repair or replacement.
- Retain proof of purchase and provide it upon request to validate warranty coverage.
Icebound Essentials covers the cost of parts and labor for the repair itself. Costs related to access, removal, reinstallation, or travel described above are not covered under this warranty.
Resolute Pro Cold Plunge
Icebound Essentials guarantees to the original purchaser that the Resolute Pro and its component parts are free of material and workmanship defects within the specified periods below. This Limited Warranty begins on the original date of delivery.
Coverage — 1-Year Limited Warranty

What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover units located outside of the United States, freight damage caused by the common carrier, or damage caused by repairs attempted by anyone other than an authorized representative. Damage resulting from neglect, misuse, or abuse — including failure to maintain proper water chemistry, use of abrasive cleaners, or non-genuine parts — is also excluded. Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage (scratches, stains, discoloration) that does not affect performance, and failures caused by acts of God (fire, flood, lightning, etc.) are not covered.
Actions That Void This Warranty
- Installation of aftermarket parts that are not genuine Icebound Essentials branded accessories.
- Misuse, neglect, or failure to follow the owner's manual.
- Operating the unit in ambient temperatures below 24°F (-4°C). The Resolute Pro is equipped with anti-freeze logic and is operable down to 24°F (-4°C); use below this threshold without proper precautions will void the warranty. Please refer to the Resolute Pro winterization guide for full instructions on cold-weather use and storage.
- Using the product without prior written authorization from Icebound Essentials for commercial settings not covered by the commercial warranty.
Inflatable Cold Plunge Tubs
Icebound Essentials guarantees to the original residential purchaser that inflatable cold plunge tubs are free of material and workmanship defects within the specified periods below. This Limited Warranty covers residential use only and begins on the original date of delivery.
Coverage — 1-Year Limited Warranty

Punctures, tears, or damage from sharp objects, misuse, or improper storage are excluded. Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and failures caused by acts of God (fire, flood, lightning, etc.) are not covered.
Actions That Void This Warranty
- Misuse, neglect, or failure to follow the owner's manual.
- Use of abrasive cleaners or corrosive sanitizers that degrade the tub material.
Cold Plunge Chillers
Icebound Essentials guarantees to the original residential purchaser that the Pro Chiller and EcoPro Chiller are free of material and workmanship defects within the specified periods below. This Limited Warranty covers residential use only and begins on the original date of delivery.
Coverage — 1-Year Limited Warranty

What Is Not Covered

Damage resulting from neglect, misuse, or abuse — including failure to maintain proper water chemistry, use of abrasive cleaners or corrosive sanitizers, or non-genuine parts — is also excluded. Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and failures caused by acts of God (fire, flood, lightning, etc.) are not covered.
Actions That Void This Warranty
- Installation of aftermarket parts that are not genuine Icebound Essentials branded accessories.
- Misuse, neglect, or failure to follow the owner's manual.
- Operating the chiller or leaving water in the unit when ambient temperatures are at or below 32°F (0°C). The Pro Chiller and EcoPro Chiller must be disconnected and fully drained of water before ambient temperatures drop below freezing. - Failing to maintain proper water chemistry resulting in failed components.
Sports Recovery Products
Icebound Essentials guarantees to the original residential purchaser that sports recovery products are free of material and workmanship defects within the specified periods below. This Limited Warranty covers residential use only and begins on the original date of delivery.

What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover freight damage caused by the common carrier or damage caused by repairs attempted by anyone other than an authorized representative. Damage resulting from neglect, misuse, or abuse is excluded, including damage to gel packs from punctures, overheating, or freezing beyond recommended temperature ranges. Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and failures caused by acts of God are not covered.
Actions That Void This Warranty
- Misuse, neglect, or failure to follow the owner's manual.
- Use of non-genuine replacement parts or accessories.
- Damage from unauthorized modifications or attempted repairs.
Saunas
We warrant to the original owner that the sauna will be free from defects in material and manufacturing under normal residential use and maintenance from the date of delivery. This limited warranty is extended to the original owner only and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
Warranty Coverage
The sauna structure and non-heater components are covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty against defects in material and manufacturing from the date of delivery.
Exclusions & Warranty Voiding
This warranty excludes labor costs for repair, replacements, or reinstallation; normal wear and tear; cosmetic damage; and failures caused by acts of God. We are not responsible for damage resulting from failure to assemble and install the sauna in strict accordance with the user manual, overnight freight or special shipping costs for replacement parts, or any liability exceeding the original amount paid.
- Failure to place the sauna on a flat, solid surface.
- Failure to follow installation and assembly instructions.
- Modifications to the size, shape, or materials of the sauna.
- Modifications to the thermometer or thermostat.
- Mounting or placing any accessory within 12 inches of the heater.
- Not having a dedicated circuit with the correct amperage per the user manual.
Sauna Heaters (OEM Warranty)
Our saunas are equipped with premium heaters sourced from major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Sauna heaters are covered directly under the respective OEM's warranty policy — please refer to the documentation provided with your heater for specific terms and durations.
Please note that heating elements are typically considered consumable parts and may have specific coverage limitations under the OEM warranty. The following actions will void heater warranty coverage:
- Repairs or attempted repairs to the heater or wiring by anyone other than a licensed electrician or authorized service provider.
- Placing, pouring, or applying any material or substance on the sauna heater rocks other than tap water.
- Failing to place the rocks correctly per the user manual.

General Limitations & Legal Rights
Limitations on Implied Warranties
This Limited Warranty takes the place of all other warranties, express or implied, in fact or at law. All warranty service must be performed by an authorized representative. No agent, dealer, distributor, service company, or other party is authorized to change, modify, or extend the terms of this limited warranty in any manner whatsoever. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Disclaimers
ICEBOUND ESSENTIALS AND ITS REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, and shall not be liable for any injury, loss, cost, or other damage — whether incidental or consequential — arising out of any defect covered by this limited warranty, including without limitation loss of use of the product, cost for removal of defective product, and water damage. The liability under this limited warranty, if any, shall not exceed the original amount paid for the defective product. Coverage commences on the original date of delivery and shall not extend beyond the stated warranty periods for any reason.
Your Legal Rights
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
