At Icebound Essentials, we build our cold plunge, sports recovery, and sauna products to last — and we stand behind them. This page outlines exactly what's covered, for how long, and what we need from you to make a claim as smooth as possible. Find the section for your product below, and don't hesitate to reach out if anything isn't clear.
The Icebound Essentials Limited Warranty on this page applies to Icebound Essentials–branded products. Products from our partner brands (RAD Roller, Kineon and Fringe) are covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty, described in the Partner Brand Products section below.
Promotional coverage: Some promotions extend the coverage period on eligible products. If your order qualified, your order confirmation email lists the covered items. For current promotion terms, see Black Friday 2026 Warranty Terms.
What We Will Cover
If a defect turns up in a product that's been installed, used, and serviced normally within its warranty period, we'll repair or replace it. If repair or replacement isn't feasible, we may instead refund the purchase price or provide store credit.
Replacement parts may occasionally differ from the originals, and availability can change over time. We may, at our discretion, use quality refurbished parts when needed.
How to File a Warranty Claim
Filing a claim is simple. As soon as you notice a defect, reach out to our Customer Care Team by email at info@iceboundessentials.com or through our Contact Page, and have the following on hand:
- Order number and proof of purchase — your original sales receipt or order confirmation.
- A quick description of the defect — when you noticed it and how it happened.
- Photos or a short video showing the issue (our team will let you know exactly what's helpful).
From there, our team will review your claim and walk you through next steps — repair, replacement, or return, depending on the situation. In the meantime, just take reasonable care to protect the product from further damage.
How We'll Work Together
Once a claim is open, here's how we can keep things moving as smoothly as possible:
- Let us know as soon as you spot a defect, and take reasonable steps to keep it from getting worse in the meantime.
- Make sure the product is accessible for inspection, diagnosis, or repair. If its installation or placement means a technician needs extra help getting to it, that additional access cost is the customer's responsibility.
- If the product needs to come out of its installed location for repair or replacement, removal, reinstallation, or reassembly costs are the customer's responsibility — this is standard practice for built-in equipment.
- Hold on to your proof of purchase and have it ready if we need it to validate coverage.
- Please keep your product's original shipping crate or carton, including all protective packaging, for the duration of the warranty period. It's designed to protect your product in transit, and you'll need it if a warranty return is ever required. If the original packaging is no longer available, you're responsible for providing suitable replacement packaging, as described under Return Shipping & Original Packaging below.
Return Shipping & Original Packaging
Please don't ship any product to us without a return authorization from our Customer Care Team. If Icebound Essentials authorizes a product for return under a warranty claim, it must be returned in its original box or crate with all original protective packaging, unless we've given you written instructions otherwise. These materials are specifically sized to protect the product during transit.
For authorized warranty returns, Icebound Essentials will provide a prepaid return shipping label and cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product back to you. If our inspection finds no defect covered by this Limited Warranty — for example, the product operates as designed, or the issue results from a cause excluded on this page — the customer is responsible for the shipping costs in both directions, and we'll return the product once those costs are paid.
If the original packaging has been discarded or is no longer usable, that alone won't invalidate an otherwise valid warranty claim. However, the customer is responsible for sourcing and paying for replacement packaging that adequately protects the product, such as a professionally packed crate or box from a local pack-and-ship provider. Icebound Essentials does not supply or ship replacement packaging. Before shipping, please send us photos of the packed unit so we can confirm the packaging is adequate.
Damage that occurs in transit because of inadequate packaging is not covered by this Limited Warranty.
Resolute Pro Cold Plunge
We guarantee to the original residential purchaser that the Resolute Pro and its component parts are free of material and workmanship defects within the specified periods below. This Limited Warranty covers residential use only and begins on the original date of delivery. Commercial warranty coverage for the Resolute Pro is available upon request.
Coverage — 1-Year Limited Warranty

What Is Not Covered
As with any high-performance equipment, a few things fall outside this warranty: units located outside of the United States, freight damage caused by the common carrier, and damage caused by repairs attempted by anyone other than an authorized representative. Damage resulting from neglect, misuse, or abuse — including failure to maintain proper water chemistry, use of abrasive cleaners, or non-genuine parts — isn't covered either, and neither is normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage (scratches, stains, discoloration) that doesn't affect performance, or damage caused by acts of God (fire, flood, lightning, etc.).
What Voids Your Coverage
Any of the following will void this Limited Warranty:
- Installing aftermarket parts that aren't genuine Icebound Essentials branded accessories.
- Misuse, neglect, or not following the setup and care instructions in the owner's manual.
- Failing to check and clean or replace the filter and strainer every 2–4 weeks under normal use. Heavy use, debris, or poor water quality can clog them faster, so they should also be cleaned or replaced any time water flow is restricted. Damage caused by restricted flow from a clogged filter or strainer is not covered.
- Operating the unit in ambient temperatures below 24°F (-4°C) without following the Resolute Pro winterization guide. The Resolute Pro's anti-freeze logic keeps it operable down to 24°F (-4°C), but not below.
- Using the product in a commercial setting without commercial warranty coverage provided in writing by Icebound Essentials. Commercial coverage is available upon request.

Inflatable Cold Plunge Tubs
We guarantee to the original residential purchaser that inflatable cold plunge tubs are free of material and workmanship defects within the specified periods below. This Limited Warranty covers residential use only and begins on the original date of delivery.
Coverage — 1-Year Limited Warranty

Punctures, tears, and damage from sharp objects, misuse, or improper storage fall outside coverage too — as does normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and damage caused by acts of God (fire, flood, lightning, etc.).

Any of the following will void this Limited Warranty:
- Misuse, neglect, or not following the setup and care instructions in the owner's manual.
- Using abrasive cleaners or corrosive sanitizers that degrade the tub material.

Cold Plunge Chillers
We guarantee to the original residential purchaser that the Pro Chiller and EcoPro Chiller are free of material and workmanship defects within the specified periods below. This Limited Warranty covers residential use only and begins on the original date of delivery.
Coverage — 1-Year Limited Warranty

Damage resulting from neglect, misuse, or abuse — including failure to maintain proper water chemistry, use of abrasive cleaners or corrosive sanitizers, or non-genuine parts — is also excluded, along with normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and damage caused by acts of God (fire, flood, lightning, etc.).
What Voids Your Coverage
Any of the following will void this Limited Warranty:
- Installing aftermarket parts that aren't genuine Icebound Essentials branded accessories.
- Misuse, neglect, or not following the setup and care instructions in the owner's manual.
- Failing to check and clean or replace the filter and strainer every 2–4 weeks under normal use. Heavy use, debris, or poor water quality can clog them faster, so they should also be cleaned or replaced any time water flow is restricted. Damage caused by restricted flow from a clogged filter or strainer, including pump failure, is not covered.
- Operating the chiller, or leaving water in the unit, when ambient temperatures are at or below 32°F (0°C). The Pro Chiller and EcoPro Chiller must be disconnected and fully drained before temperatures drop below freezing, since ice can form and damage internal components.
- Failing to maintain proper water chemistry, resulting in failed components.

Sports Recovery Products
We guarantee to the original residential purchaser that sports recovery products are free of material and workmanship defects within the specified periods below. This Limited Warranty covers residential use only and begins on the original date of delivery.

What Is Not Covered
This warranty doesn't cover units located outside of the United States and Canada, freight damage caused by the common carrier, or damage caused by repairs attempted by anyone other than an authorized representative. Damage resulting from neglect, misuse, or abuse is excluded too, including damage to gel packs from punctures, overheating, or freezing beyond the recommended temperature range, along with normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and damage caused by acts of God.
What Voids Your Coverage
Any of the following will void this Limited Warranty:
- Misuse, neglect, or not following the setup and care instructions in the owner's manual.
- Using non-genuine replacement parts or accessories.
- Unauthorized modifications or attempted repairs.

Saunas
We warrant to the original owner that the sauna will be free from defects in material and manufacturing under normal residential use and maintenance, from the date of delivery. This limited warranty is extended to the original owner only and isn't transferable to subsequent owners.
Warranty Coverage
The sauna structure and non-heater components are covered by a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty against defects in material and manufacturing from the date of delivery.
What Isn't Covered
This warranty doesn't cover labor costs for repair, replacement, or reinstallation; normal wear and tear; cosmetic damage; or damage caused by acts of God. We're also not able to cover damage from assembling or installing the sauna outside of what's described in the user manual, overnight freight or special shipping costs for replacement parts, or liability beyond the original amount paid.
What Voids Your Coverage
Any of the following will void this Limited Warranty:
- Placing the sauna on a surface that isn't flat and solid.
- Not following the installation and assembly instructions.
- Modifying the size, shape, or materials of the sauna.
- Modifying the thermometer or thermostat.
- Mounting or placing any accessory within 12 inches of the heater.
- Not having a dedicated circuit with the correct amperage per the user manual.
Sauna Heaters (OEM Warranty)
Our saunas come equipped with premium heaters sourced from major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Sauna heaters are covered directly under that manufacturer's warranty policy — check the documentation that came with your heater for specific terms and durations, or reach out and we'll help you track it down.
Heating elements are typically considered consumable parts and may have their own coverage limitations under the OEM warranty. A few things to keep in mind, since they'll void heater warranty coverage:
- Repairs or attempted repairs to the heater or wiring by anyone other than a licensed electrician or authorized service provider.
- Placing, pouring, or applying any material or substance on the sauna heater rocks other than tap water.
- Not placing the rocks correctly per the user manual.

Partner Brand Products
We also carry recovery products from partner brands we trust: RAD Roller, Kineon and Fringe. These products ship directly from the brand and are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, not by the Icebound Essentials Limited Warranty above. Each brand decides how a covered defect is resolved (repair, replacement or refund) under its own terms.

Partner brand warranties cover products bought from iceboundessentials.com. They don’t cover damage from misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized repairs. For returns within the return window, see our Returns & Refund Policy.
General Limitations & Legal Rights
Limitations on Implied Warranties
Any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the coverage period of this Limited Warranty. All warranty service must be performed by an authorized representative. No agent, dealer, distributor, service company, or other party is authorized to change, modify, or extend the terms of this limited warranty in any manner whatsoever. Only Icebound Essentials may extend coverage, and only through a written promotion published on iceboundessentials.com.
Extended Service Plans and Third-Party Claims
Extended warranties, service contracts, and protection plans (whether purchased separately or through a partner program) are sold and administered by a third-party provider. These plans take effect when the Icebound Essentials Limited Warranty ends (1 year from delivery, or 2 years for orders covered by an extended-coverage promotion). During the Limited Warranty period, covered defects are handled by Icebound Essentials under the terms on this page. After it ends, any further coverage is provided solely by the plan provider under its own terms, not by Icebound Essentials.
A repair or replacement made under an extended service plan fulfills the plan provider's obligation to you. It is not a new purchase from Icebound Essentials and does not renew, extend, or restart the Icebound Essentials Limited Warranty. When a product is returned to Icebound Essentials as part of a claim under an extended service plan, the same Return Shipping & Original Packaging requirements described above apply.
Disclaimers
In plain terms: our responsibility is limited to fixing or replacing the product itself, and doesn't extend to other costs or losses that result from a defect. Here's the formal version of that same limitation:
ICEBOUND ESSENTIALS AND ITS REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, and shall not be liable for any injury, loss, cost, or other damage — whether incidental or consequential — arising out of any defect covered by this limited warranty, including without limitation loss of use of the product, cost for removal of defective product, and water damage. The liability under this limited warranty, if any, shall not exceed the original amount paid for the defective product. Coverage begins on the original date of delivery and lasts for the stated warranty periods, unless a written Icebound Essentials promotion extended the coverage period for an eligible order (see Promotional coverage above). Coverage does not extend for any other reason, including a repair or replacement made under this warranty.
Your Legal Rights
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. There are no warranties applicable to Icebound Essentials products except as expressly stated on this page or as implied by applicable state and federal law. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states don't allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
