Icebound Essentials

I have been researching cold plunges for a year and a half now. I sent three systems back from three different companies because they were not what I wanted. I contacted this company and everything changed! I got all of my millions of questions answered, was walked through in great detail on how to set up my tub with the chiller, and it is all working great! The chiller is as high quality as the customer service is. I can't recommend this company and their products enough!!

Roll this ball over sore muscles and the vibration helps them relax and loosen up naturally. Nice quality for the price.

I did not get these for making ice baths, although I expect they would be great for that. I got them for my dogs. During warm weather I allow the dogs to stay outside in a large kennel (~1/3 of an acre) where they can run and play. I put a water tray in the kennel, and put one of these large ice blocks in the tray with a little bit of water. The dogs lick the ice block and drink the water as it melts, which means even on a hot day, they have cool water to drink for 5-6 hours. This works really well.However, when I first saw the trays they reminded me of cake pans. So, I called the company and a very nice person told me that the trays could withstand up to about 450 degrees Fahrenheit. So I started using them to make pound cake during the winter months for an easy breakfast or snack. Which means I have two great uses for these trays, making large blocks of ice and baking cakes. Can't be happier or recommend them more highly.

This review is for the Icebound Essentials XL 150gallon cold plunge tub Black.Good: This is about as sturdily built as these kinds of tubs get, so no worries about durability and longevity, so long as you avoid the common pitfalls of inflatables like pointy or sharp objects, too much sun for too long, too much concentrated pressure for too long etc. The chiller hookups work as they should, they have brass internal threading and are clearly labeled. An emergency repair kit is included, as well as a branded foot mat to stand on, a high pressure pump, carrying bag and a branded stainless steel water bottle. It was very easy to setup, no problems with leakage, and overall, the tub is great quality, by far the biggest I have. I have had no problems with water leakage either.Neutral/could be improved: The carrying bag is not the best quality. The fabric itself is sturdy, but this is a heavy tub to tote around, it should have dedicated, padded backpack straps and at least two webbing grab handles. The included plugs for the inlet and outlet are made of plastic, so be sure to screw it in correctly every time, because the brass will chew off plastic from an improperly screwed in plug. Personally, I would update this product to include compatible metal shut off valves or metal screw in plugs, but there is nothing truly wrong with it that I would deduct stars for either.Bad: Nothing that I have noticed yet.

This cold Plunge is perfect. Very nice size and works great. Very easy to set up and very easy to use. The materials very durable and should last forever. Great price for a great ice Plunge

These things are super durable. A little smaller than I expected, but they do what they claim to do. Very easy to remove the ice, and the lids fit well. Should hold up for a very long time.

PERFECT.These work great for ice baths, they are pretty good quality material and are a decent size for it, they are big enough without being too cumbersome to actually be used. Overall I'm very pleased with them

These molds are the perfect size for our ice bath. They are pretty thick but it is still easy to remove the ice blocks, and after clean up they collapse for easy storage.

Perfect for a temporary ice plunge bath. Perfect-sized ice cubes also. Love the silicone molds. They should last a long time! Super simple to use also. A fantastic value!

These work great and are massive. I use them for my ice bath. They freeze fast and its super easy to pop out the cube. They work exactly as they should. The rubber it is made of is really thick and feels high quality.I will be ordering another set of these.

These molds are great! The material is thick and well shaped so I don't need to worry about it collapsing and spilling everywhere. The lids lock down, so that adds to my comfort. Once frozen, it is easy enough to run the outside under some cool water for two or three minutes and it pops right out. There are so many great uses for these, I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of oversized ice cubes.

I’ve had the icebound tub and Childrfor about two months now everything I hoped it would be. The one issue was the cover kept deflating. I called in They answer the phone, which is one of the most important things in service. They ask me to try a couple of things and said if it doesn’t work, call us back and we’ll send you out a brand new one the guidance he gave on the phone and took care of the problem. Very good value and very good quality.

Even on the lowest setting this vibrates pretty intensely. Figuring out how to get pressure where you want it by putting it against a wall or on the floor can be a bit tricky. I call this "gnar gnar", something I picked up reading about rubber ball therapy.It can be a pretty effective little self-massager if you put in some time figuring out how to get pressure where you want it.

I had been planning on getting some ice brick makers when I found these on Vine. These make great bricks. Currently, the bricks I've made crack longwise down the center, so I'm on a mission to fix that. YT University, here we come. Being made of food grade silicone, these can be used to make clear ice for drinks (after cutting), punch bowls, etc. (another YTU adventure). Anyway, my primary purpose for ice bricks is for use in the cooler and for that, these are great.
