These aren't your grandma's ice cube trays - they're the heavyweight champions of cold therapy:

  • Churns out 7-pound ice behemoths (that's a lot of chill, folks)
  • Stackable like your workout plan (efficiency is key, right?)
  • Food-grade silicone (safe enough to eat off, tough enough to survive your post-race tantrums)
  • Dishwasher-safe (spend time on the trail, not at the sink)
  • Mold dimensions: 11.8"x7.09"x5.7" (LxWxH)

Just what I needed

These silicon molds make nice big ice bricks. This is exactly what I needed for my outdoor ice bath. I can make a couple of ice bricks and then store them in my deep freeze for use. The large size does not melt too quickly, and a couple of us can get a good ice bath before we are sitting in cold water rather than ice water. These are also great to use in a backyard party cooler. It takes quite a while for these to melt down, and they keep drinks cold for several hours.

Great for both making ice and baking

I did not get these for making ice baths, although I expect they would be great for that. I got them for my dogs. During warm weather I allow the dogs to stay outside in a large kennel (~1/3 of an acre) where they can run and play. I put a water tray in the kennel, and put one of these large ice blocks in the tray with a little bit of water. The dogs lick the ice block and drink the water as it melts, which means even on a hot day, they have cool water to drink for 5-6 hours. This works really well. However, when I first saw the trays they reminded me of cake pans. So, I called the company and a very nice person told me that the trays could withstand up to about 450 degrees Fahrenheit. So I started using them to make pound cake during the winter months for an easy breakfast or snack. Which means I have two great uses for these trays, making large blocks of ice and baking cakes. Can't be happier or recommend them more highly.

Ice Blocks for multiple uses

Silicone molds are great, great material with snap in silicone lid, easy to fill with water and place in my freezer. Easy to remove ice from the molds. Bought to make ice blocks for ice plunge bath. Blocks also work well inside cooler. Keeps items cold. Have used over and over with the mold shape holding its shape. Highly recommend.

Excellent alternative

We use ice a ton. We travel quite often and do a lot of camping, kayaking, snowboarding, and just vacation trips in general. we like to travel. with a dry box of snacks and extra food as well as one or two coolers for drinks and fruit and things like hummus. What we don’t like doing is spending a ridiculous amount of money on ice as ice bags are getting smaller and smaller at the grocery stores and costing 5 to 8 dollars a bag. We use ice blocks to keep the ice in the coolers much longer, but like buying the full-size blocks in the grocery stores. This is about 2/3 the size of the icebox you buy in the store. I also get the advantage of making two blocks for both our yeti and orca coolers. DC very durable and so far has worked incredibly well and I really like that they come with the lid. I wish the lid was a little more stiff so I can put freezer products on top of the ice blocks however, I would still re-order these any day and look forward to getting a lot of use out of them . We’ve been thinking about getting a cold bath for our backyard and these will work out perfect

As advertised

The molds worked well and didn't leak water. The best part about this mold is that it has a lid and that helps keep the water from sloshing while walking it to the freezer. Once in the freezer with the lid you can stack items on to it so you're not losing a ton of space just to make your giant ice cubes. It was a little hard to get the ice out. First I left it to sit for 5 minutes on the counter and it didn't want to pop out. So then I turned it upside down in the sink and ran tepid water over the mold for a little bit, but it still didn't pop out. Finally I ran room temp water into the mold and that finally did the trick to get the ice out. Over all not a bad buy if you're needing giant ice cubes.
